Car goes into river on I-70 near Glenwood Springs

Just after 6 p.m. Thursday, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 reportedly lost control and went off the guardrail into the Colorado River in South Canyon.
Colorado State Patrol trooper Gary Cutler said the 16-year old male driver from Rifle got out of the vehicle with minor injuries.
Emergency vehicles blocked the right lane of eastbound I-70 for several hours on Thursday night.
