Carbondale Police to hold public meeting after assault

Over the weekend in Carbondale, the Carbondale Police Department started investigating a sexual assault. 

“We will not be doing a press release due to the nature of the crime,” said Anna Ramirez, the Public Information Officer for Carbondale PD.  “We will be holding a community meeting tonight to answer any questions.” 

The community meeting is slated for 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at the Old Thompson Barn located at 333 River Valley Ranch.



Part of the meeting will have a brief description of the suspect.
