Carl H. Green
Carl H. Green of Glenwood Springs died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. He was 76.
He was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Ackerly, Texas, to Jewell Britton and O.E. Green.
He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II on the U.S.S. Mobile.
He married Della Harrell on May 15, 1960, in Denver.
Mr. Green worked as a truck driver and dispatcher for various trucking lines in Denver for 40 years.
He lived in Glenwood Springs for the past 13 years.
He was a member of the Elks Club in Westminster.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Della Green of Glenwood Springs; by brothers Eddie Green of Denver and Jim Green of Lone Jack, Mo.; and by sisters Hazel Dawn Rasberry of Lubbock, Texas, Berta Faye Owings of West Columbia, Texas, and Bonnie Jo Stephens of Eden, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Farnum-Holt Funeral Chapel, 405 W. 7th St. in Glenwood Springs. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver.
Farnum-Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
