Carl Ray Leonard Ayers-Ashcraft

Carl Ray Leonard Ayers-Ashcraft, 21, passed away Oct. 6, 2007.He was born Feb. 21, 1986, in Rifle, to Leonard Ayers and Raynee Ashcraft. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed. He was our free spirit and a fearless adventurer, always ready to protect his own. Carl always knew how to make others feel better while setting aside his own problems, saying “don’t worry about me.” He was employed by C&G Custom Framing in Grand Junction: memorial donations can be sent to them at 3136 Meadow Lane, Grand Junction, CO 81504. He is survived by his mother; sister Alisha; brother Joshua; cousin James; numerous aunts and uncles and the love of his life, Sarah Clark.Carl was preceded in death by his father, and his uncle Joshua Kane Ashcraft.A visitation took place Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Rifle Funeral Home. A graveside service will occur at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle.
