Carley Grace Newman Sarver

Carley Grace Sarver died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at University Hospital in Denver. She was 72.

Mrs. Sarver was born on May 3, 1930, in Harrison, Mich., to Virgil and Mabel Newman.

She is survived by her husband Don; children Delite Strouse and husband Leonard of Clare, Mich., Darlene Shafer and husband Tom of Mount Pleasant, Mich., David Kistler and wife Rhoda of Beaufort, S.C., David Sarver of Basalt, Dean Sarver and wife Lisa of Lansing, Mich., and Donya Lewis and husband Tim of Littleton; son-in-law Ralph Leposky of Elk Rapids, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.



One child, Diane Leposky, and one grandchild preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs. The funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Basalt Bible Church. Burial will be in Skyline Cemetery in Silt.
