Carol Jean Ross

Carol Jean Ross passed away June 21, 2008, of complication from the medicines that had keep her alive for the 28 years since losing a lung.

She was born Dec. 17, 1949.

Carol was well-known as the owner of the Mother Lode Restaurant and for her famous cheesecake. She was an opera singer and an artist.

Carol was a kind, loving, spiritual light to everyone she knew and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by daughter Amy Ange Ross.

Please join friends at 6 p.m. July 6, at Sopris Park in Carbondale to remember her.
