Carrole Sue Burtard
Carrole Sue Burtard, 60, of Sterling, died Jan. 28, 2009, in Sterling.
She was born Aug. 20, 1948, in Watsonville, Calif., to H.A. and Thelma (Jones) Sheldon. She attended Wyoming High School and Glenwood Beauty School.
She married Louis Dale Burtard in October of 1967.
She worked for Northeast Colorado Services.
Carrole is survived by sons Cury (Tammy) Burtard and Rob Burtard, all of Sterling; sisters Adelle Bell of Phoenix, Shirley Fullmer of Hawaii, and Sharon Widick of Thermopolis, Wyo.; brothers Buzz, Bill, Skeet and Jack Sheldon; grandchildren Laci, Lane, Kolton, Jaden and Kali; and special friend, Doyle Dako.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters and three brothers.
Cremation has been chosen; interment will be held Feb. 6 in Carbondale.
