Charles William Pruett passed away peacefully May 3, 2012, at home with family at his side. He had been a resident of the Glenwood Springs area since 1966.

He was born to John William and Luella Pruett in Hotchkiss, Colorado. His survivors include his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth; a son, Mike (Irene) Pruett of Rifle; three daughters, Cathy (Tim) Skover of San Jose, CA, Deborah Failing of Silt, and Patty (Dennis) Yost of Glenwood Springs; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren who affectionately called him “great papa.”

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Glenwood Springs United Methodist Church located at 824 Cooper Ave.



Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church or to Alpine Hospice, 1517 Blake Ave., Suite 100B, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
