Charolette Amy CeriseJanuary 15, 1918 – September 9, 2005

Charolette Amy Cerise, 87, a longtime resident of Carbondale, passed away in Albuquerque, N.M., on Sept. 9, 2005. She was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Saginaw, Mich., the eldest daughter of Floyd and Flora Anderson. She lived in several New Mexico and Colorado locations as a child, including Aspen and Basalt, where her father was the school principal. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, O. J. Cerise; two daughters, Bonnie (Nick) Terliamis, of Paonia, and Barbara (George) Bailey, of Placitas, N.M.; son Richard (Sheila) Cerise, of Kingman, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, in the Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.
