Chester S. Perrin, 75, of Battlement Mesa passed away Feb. 28, 2010 at Grand River Hospital in Rifle.

Chester was born Aug. 4, 1934 in Dalhart, TX to Standley M. and Glora (Kelly) Perrin.

After serving his country in the Army, he married Sharon D. Morelock on June 29, 1962 in Morrison, CO. They moved to the Western Slope 29 years ago from Bailey, CO and were longtime members of the Sonlight Four Square Church.

Chester is survived by his loving wife Sharon; sons Kelley and Darby Perrin; daughter Cheri McCoy; sister Mary Crocker; five grandchildren Tyler, Kodi, Wyatt, Garrett and Hailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lester; and sisters Nancy and Virginia.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, March 5, 10 a.m., at Ft. Logan Cemetery Staging Area C, with interment following immediately.
