Chris A. Deming was born in Des Moines, IA on April 8, 1949, and left this earth on Sept. 6, 2009 from complications following pancreatic cancer surgery.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, 3 p.m. at the Aspen Elk’s Lodge (510 E. Hyman).

Chris graduated high school from Chariton, Iowa and went on to receive a B.A. degree in Business from Iowa State University in 1971. Chris was always self-employed. In the 80’s, Chris owned and operated Mountain Ambulance out of Aspen Valley Hospital, and most recently Deming Restoration. He was a 26-year member of the Elk’s Lodge.

Preceding Chris in death are his parents Willard and Ethel Deming. He is survived by his brother Curt, sister Cathy and her husband Kurt. He was the cherished uncle of three nieces Leslie (Russ), Stacie (Michael) and Jennifer (James) and two nephews Curt Jr. (Dena) and Wesley. He left behind three beloved former wives Janet R. Morrison, Christina Deming, Karen Kinney, special friend Ellen Anderson, loyal friends Barry and Lori Lindahl and a host of other wonderful friends.

Chris had an insatiable love of life, people, his dogs and the outdoors.
