Tri-Community Catholic Parishes
The Tri-Community Catholic Parishes of Rifle, Parachute and Silt gather to celebrate Mass every weekend on the following schedule: St. Mary’s, 761 Birch Ave., Rifle, 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Misa in Espanol at noon; St. Brendan Parish, Parachute, 4:30 p.m. Saturday; Sacred Heart Parish, Silt, 7 p.m. Saturday. New Hope Church

This Sunday, the Rev. Sandra Lee will lead the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in celebrating a Flower Communion, a tradition created by the Rev. Norbert Capek, a Czech Unitarian who died in the Holocaust. Bring a flower to contribute to the bouquet that represents the UU community, then take home a different flower as one of the many gifts the church gives and receives. Live bluegrass music will be provided by the local band “Grass Gone.”
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation meets the first, second and third Sundays of each month.

First Presbyterian Church
The public is invited each Sunday to a spiritually uplifting service at First Presbyterian Church, 1016 Cooper Ave., Glenwood Springs. This Sunday the Church at Carbondale will hold its last regular sermon at Roaring Fork High School. After the 9 a.m. service at RFHS, there will be a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. at its new church, 110 Snowmass Drive.
