Craft show to be held



Rifle United Methodist-Presbyterian Church hosts a spring crafts show from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 27. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9 a.m.

The show is open to the public, and will feature some beautiful crafts.



Run, walk, pledge

for youth

Run for Youth will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Two Rivers Park, Glenwood Springs.

This run is a fund-raiser to help the area’s youth by providing funds for Youth for Christ programs, events and scholarships.

Participants can run, walk or jog; be a team captain; sponsor a team ($100); pledge a participant; or volunteer to set up and take down.

Fish to be fried

St. Mary of the Crown Catholic Church serves up an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3. The meal includes deep-fried catfish filets, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls and homemade desserts.

Donations of $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12 are being asked. The church is located at the top of White Hill, just outside Carbondale.

Adventists meet

The Seventh Day Adventist Church of Rifle holds Sabbath school Saturdays at 10 a.m., followed by worship services at 11 a.m. Praisefest is held Wednesdays at 7 p.m. For more information, call 625-1215.

The church is located at 0086 Village Drive.

Marble services held

The Marble Community Church holds services Sunday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Linda Arocha-Boylan officiates, with Karen Tafejian as organist.

Thomasville

services held

Basalt Community United Methodist Church holds services at its Thomasville church Sundays at 7 p.m. Services are held in Basalt Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

Redstone church

holds services

The Church at Redtone holds services at 213 Redstone Blvd. Sundays at 10 a.m. Bruce Gledhill is the pastor.

Carbondale church
