Real estate: In Wednesday’s article about the Garfield County real estate market dropping more than 40 percent in 2008, the median residential home price referred to in Battlement Mesa is tied to the 73 transactions for 2008. The price drop does not indicate a drop in property value for the area but rather indicates that people were buying less expensive homes.
