Clues sought for missing person last seen in Aspen
Authorities trying to find a Snowmass Village man who was last seen on Saturday in Aspen are seeking the public’s help.
George Aldrich, 28, who moved to Snowmass Village in early November, was last seen Saturday night at Eric’s Bar. Police are seeking information from anyone who saw Aldrich after 10:30 p.m. that night, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the Aspen Police Department.
Aldrich was reported missing on Monday, when the Snowmass Village Police Department received a report that Aldrich didn’t make it to work that day.
Aldrich, who routinely uses the public bus system for transportation, is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 140 pounds, with long brown hair. He was wearing a plaid winter coat the night he was last seen. He has no local relatives, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Aspen police at 920-5310.
The investigation is being conducted by the Aspen Police Department, the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office and the Snowmass Village Police Department. Assistance is being provided by Mountain Rescue Aspen and the Basalt Police Department.
