Coal Ridge girls soccer team crushes Rangely

Erupting for seven first-half goals, Coal Ridge rolled to a 9-1 girls soccer win at Rangely on Thursday.
Alicia Cokley finished with four goals – all in the first half – to pace the Titans, now 5-1 overall. Paige Ryan found net twice and Allie Ehlers, Amanda Wenzel and Kayli Hunter all had a goal apiece in the rout.
Ryan also finished with four assists. Kelsey Fauser had two and Melessa Starbuck, Carly Cloninger and Ashlie Bowles had one apiece.
Moffat County broke a 1-all halftime tie with four second-half goals to score a 5-1 win over visiting Grand Valley on Friday.
Bretta Buchannan scored twice to pace the host Bulldogs.
