Glenwood Springs High School graduate Stephanie Wilson recently signed a letter of intent to attend Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, where she will play for the women’s golf team.Below is a Q&A with Wilson about her decision to attend CCU and about her high school golf career:Why Colorado Christian? “I chose Colorado Christian because I wanted a small school where I got the chance to play golf.”Academic focus: “I’m going to major in elementary education.”What are you most looking forward to about college? “I’m looking forward to meeting new people and growing in my golf game, I guess. And the whole college experience.”What’s your proudest or favorite moment from playing golf at Glenwood?”Qualifying for state at regionals in Moffat County this year.”What will you miss most about home?”The mountains and the river, I guess.”What’s your favorite course to play?”My favorite course is The Hill [Glenwood Springs Golf Club].”
