Comcast launches Digital Voice

Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

Comcast Corp., the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications, recently announced the launch of Comcast Digital Voice in many of Colorado’s mountain communities, including Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Rifle and Silt. Comcast Digital Voice offers customers digital-quality phone service with unlimited direct-dial local and domestic long-distance calling, Web access to voicemail, E911 service and 12 popular calling features.

Additionally, over the next few months Comcast will launch its Business Class Digital Voice in many Colorado mountain communities, giving local businesses another option when choosing a phone service provider.

“With Comcast Digital Voice, we’re excited to offer Colorado mountain community residents a reliable alternative to traditional phone service,” said Amy Lynch, general manager of mountain areas for Comcast Colorado. “Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Granby, Rifle and Winter Park now can take advantage of a full suite of services, including voice, television and high-speed Internet, all from one provider.”

With this announcement, Comcast Digital Voice service is now available to an additional 34,000 Colorado homes. Comcast plans to roll out the service to additional Colorado markets, including Carbondale, New Castle, and El Jebel, by the end of the year.

Comcast technicians will professionally install Comcast Digital Voice in the home – using the jacks and existing wiring in the home. Customers can keep their current phone number and use their existing touch-tone phones to make and receive an unlimited amount of direct-dial local and domestic long-distance calls for as little as $39.95 per month. Comcast also offers very competitive international rates.

Comcast Digital Voice also brings the world to customers’ fingertips. Comcast has introduced a new International calling plan, Carefree Minutes Worldwide 300, providing even more competitive rates to some of the most popular calling destinations around the globe. Comcast offers a variety of regional Carefree Minutes calling plans, which offer customers flat rates for calls made to more than 30 countries around the world.

Universal Caller ID: Customers can view caller information on their phone, TV and computer.
