Comic is juvenile, not funny
Dear Editor,
I get a little irritated by the continual stream of rude, misleading, anti-Bush cartoons on the editorial page, and now it’s invaded the comic strips. “Non Sequitur” is cutesy, juvenile and not funny. How about getting Mallard Fillmore for a little balance.
By the way, Iraq and Afghanistan are turning out to be one of the best things in the war on terror. Terrorists from all over the world are streaming down there to help kick out the “great Satan” and we are stomping them when they show up.
There are more people dying of violence in Washington, D.C., than we are losing in Iraq, so the price of baiting the trap is small in relation to the benefit.
We are drawing terrorists away from the rest of the world to a place where we can deal with them with minimal collateral damage. Better in Iraq than here.
