The Roaring Fork Cultural Council welcomes Ambassador Chris Hill to Carbondale for a discussion on the Arab Spring.

“Perspectives on the Arab Spring” begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Thunder River Theatre, 67 Promenade in Carbondale. Tickets are $15 and have a high probability of selling out. For more information and tickets, please visit or call 970-618-7338.

As the U.S. ambassador to Iraq from April 2009 until August 2010, Hill can offer an authentic observation on the revolutionary wave sweeping the Arab world.

BSA Troop 225 announces the kickoff of its wreath sale. Any one of the 42 members of the troop will be calling on members of the community and businesses to purchase wreaths and/or sprays for the holliday fundraiser.
