A food drive for homeless veterans is being held at the Glenwood Springs Veterans TeleHealth Clinic until Dec. 22. These donations will be given to the food bank that supports homeless veterans in the Glenwood Springs area.

Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the TeleHealth Clinic, 2425 S. Grand Ave.

An open house will be held at the clinic on the final day of the food drive from 2 – 4 p.m., in appreciation for the donations.

The River Center is a community outreach center that provides support and offers relief services for families in our area. These services include assistance programs for students at local schools, senior networking, special events such as The Angel Tree, and emergency assistance outreach to families.

Daybreak Construction Specialties Inc. will match any new donations to the River Center during the month of December. This match applies to donations made by individuals, businesses and churches up to $2,000. This is your opportunity to double your contribution and the gift of sharing with those less fortunate in your community. All donations are tax deductible.
