Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

A film about Vail ski resort that Garrett Edquist of Glenwood Springs has been involved in making over the last six months will air on Rocky Mountain PBS. Edquist made the film with Roger Brown, who has been documenting Vail since the early ’60s.

“Vail, The Rise of America’s Iconic Ski Resort” will show at 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3.

Registration for spring semester at Colorado Mountain College is now under way. Many classes, including those taught via online learning, start the week of Jan. 14. Other classes start throughout the semester.



In Rifle, each household should have received a course schedule in the mail. More information and registration is available online at coloradomtn.edu/register or at the college, 3695 Airport Road.

Class schedules for the Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and Glenwood Springs-Spring Valley locations are available at college centers at 690 Colorado Ave. in Carbondale, 1402 Blake Ave. in Glenwood Springs, or 3000 County Road 114 in Spring Valley (south of Glenwood Springs). You can also browse online for classes at coloradomtn.edu/classes.
