The Ann Korologos Gallery, 211 Midland in Basalt, is hosting an opening reception for Andy Taylor’s one-man exhibit, “Andy Taylor • Current Works” from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 8.

Taylor’s work is popular with art aficionados and collectors in the area for his compelling interpretations of the familiar local landscapes. A Carbondale resident for the past 39 years, Taylor is inspired by the variety of landscape within driving distance of his hometown. He never leaves home without a sketchbook, whether he is driving to his summer job on a Missouri Heights ranch, or rafting down a river.

For more information, call or stop at the gallery, in Basalt, 970-927-9668.
