The Glenwood Springs High School girls soccer team will host a car wash this Saturday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the high school parking lot. All money raised will go toward the team’s expenses as they head into the state tournament as league champions.

The Whimsical Women of the West are celebrating spring. Eighteen artisans will be showing their work in the loft of the barn at Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast. A percentage of sales will go to the Arts Round Room at the Third Street Center in Carbondale. The event is Friday, May 7, 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast is located on the road to Sunlight Ski Area.
