The Board of Garfield County Commissioners will hold the second regular meeting of the month on Monday, July 12, at the new Sheriff’s Annex located at 106 County Road 333A in Rifle. This is across from the Garfield County Airport east runway.
Grand River Hospital and Medical Center in Rifle will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. Donate blood at the St. Mary’s Blood Mobile, which will be parked near the south entrance of Grand River Hospital and Medical Center, and receive a free cholesterol screening. Giving blood is an easy and quick way to potentially save a life.

Glenwood Springs Women’s Connection, affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, invites all women to a brunch 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, featuring local professional artist Cynthia Thomas and speaker DiAnna Perkins of Colorado Springs, who will tell of her scarred past and bright future. Though it won’t bring major changes for most Garfield County businesses, local public health officials were notified Thursday that the county will move to the less-restrictive Level Blue, effective first thing Friday.
