Marti Begly, a veteran soprano soloist with the Aspen Choral Society, stands in for conductor Ray Adams at Monday’s rehearsal of Handel’s choral-music classic, “The Messiah.” Performances are scheduled for Dec. 7 and 8 at the First United Methodist Church in Glenwood Springs, and for Dec. 10 and 11 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aspen. This will be the 33rd presentation of the annual holiday tradition, which will be conducted by Adams.
