The Shining Stars Foundation, along with Mason Morse Real Estate and Dancing Bear Residences, are organizing a holiday toy drive for children fighting cancer and their families, continuing through Dec. 20.Donated toys may be dropped off at Mason Morse offices in Aspen (514 E. Hyman), Glenwood Springs (1614 Grand Ave.) and Carbondale (0290 Highway 133), or at the Dancing Bear Residence in Aspen (411 S. Monarch St.)

For the month of December all cats and kittens are available for adoption for $5 to $75. Bring a furry friend home in time for the holidays. Join Colorado Animal Rescue staff in Glenwood Springs on Dec. 11-12 for a Christmas Cat Adoptathon.
