Glenwood Springs High School hosts an open house and dedication of the new Jeannie Miller Theatre on Wednesday, Sept. 23.The open house begins at 6:30 p.m. with tours of the school and light refreshments. At 7:30 p.m., the theater will be dedicated to Miller, a former choir teacher who had a big impact on students and her fellow staff members during her 20 years at the school before her death in 2006.The public is invited to attend.

Come enjoy a fun, family day western style at the St. Stephen’s Wild West Days! A community event for the whole family at the Gus Darien Rodeo arena in Carbondale. Saturday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mutton bustin, calf scramble, stick horse races, pony rides, games, raffles, music and much more all with your price of admission.
