Community spirit lifts firefighters

Dear Editor,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Glenwood Springs and the surrounding communities for their outstanding support during the Coal Seam Fire. The last several weeks have been very difficult for many people. However, your community spirit and concern has been extremely heartening to us and has made our jobs easier during our assignment on the Coal Seam Fire, June 20 through July 3, 2002.

Thank you very much.

Wayne Cook
