Conservation districts to offer rural living seminar in Glenwood
The Bookcliff, Mount Sopris and South Side Conservation Districts and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will offer a seminar to address land management concerns for small or new acreage landowners.Quality Living on Your Rural Land will be held on Tuesdays, March 14 through April 11, from 7-9 p.m. at the NRCS offices, 401 23rd St., Suite 106, Glenwood Springs.The seminar will cover soils and nutrients, water and pasture management and weed and pest control. The agenda will be flexible to cover specific resource concerns.The last class will be a field visit to apply what has been learned.For more information about the seminar and to make a reservation, call the Conservation District office, 945-5494, ext. 101.
