Contest will award 12 rebates for home energy audit and insulation in Garfield County
Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado
GARFIELD COUNTY, Colorado ” A thick layer of insulation in your home’s attic and walls will save money on utility bills, and keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Garfield County homeowners with little or no attic insulation are encouraged to enter the “Garfield 100% Rebate Home Energy Audit and Insulation Contest.”
A total of 12 homeowners throughout the county will win a 100 percent rebate to cover the costs of a home energy audit and professionally installed attic and wall insulation worth up to $1,400.
“Whether you heat your home with natural gas, propane or electric baseboard heating, your bills will be lower and you will be more comfortable if your home has insulation suited to our climate,” said Rifle Mayor Keith Lambert. “If the insulation in your attic is skimpy or spotty, or if there’s no insulation at all, this contest is a great opportunity to get a home energy audit and the insulation your home needs.”
