On July 29, Glenwood Springs police were notified by the bouncers at a local bar that a person with drugs was in custody. When police arrived, they reportedly found drugs on Mario Lincoln Esquibel, 23, listed as a transient. They arrested him for suspicion of possession of drugs, disorderly conduct and on a warrant from another agency.On July 21, Rifle police arrested Clarence William Johns, 37, of Craig, on suspicion of driving under restraint, an insurance violation and limitations on backing.-On July 29, Glenwood Springs police arrested Michael Jeffrey Mirick, 21, of Glenwood Springs on a warrant and on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. -On July 29, Glenwood Springs police pulled a vehicle over for speeding. They noticed signs of intoxication on the driver, Joel Lucero-Dominguez, 36, of Bernalillo, N.M., and arrested him on suspicion of drunken driving, no proof of insurance, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia. -On July 29, Glenwood Springs police reportedly saw a vehicle run a red light and when they pulled him over, they noted signs of intoxication. Keith James Boyer, 22, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of driving while ability impaired, possession of drug paraphernalia and running a red light. -On July 29, Glenwood Springs police received a report of a gas skip from a local gas station. They pulled over the suspect and found that he had an active warrant. They arrested Jason Scott Shields, 23, of Carbondale on the warrant and on suspicion of driving while license is suspended, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. -On July 31, Glenwood Springs police saw a driver allegedly speeding and pulled him over. They arrested John Peter Herman Dethman III, 26, of Denver for drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to show insurance and speeding. -On Aug. 1, Glenwood Springs police stopped a vehicle after reportedly seeing it weaving on the road. The officer asked the driver, Bradley David Stone, 22, of Grand Junction to do voluntary roadside tests. He reportedly performed them unsatisfactorily. Stone was arrested for drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, weaving and driving while under restraint.
