On Feb. 9, Rifle police were called to a domestic situation on East 2nd Street. They arrested June Angeline Little Light, 34, of Rifle on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence for allegedly hitting her husband. -On Feb. 9, Rifle police responded to a 911 call on Sage Court. The woman reportedly said her husband, Steven Andrew Spevere, 32, of Rifle grabbed her wrists and put his hand over her mouth when she called 911. He was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence and abuse of telephone service. -On Feb. 9, Rifle police were called to a residence on Park Avenue for an alleged assault. Tisha Lee Gallegos, 21, of Rifle was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence for allegedly hitting her boyfriend. -On Feb. 4, Silt police arrested Michael Clifford Walter, 41, of Silt for suspicion of forgery and possession of forged instruments. He allegedly used a color copier to make numerous copies of a single $50 bill that were then used to make purchases throughout Silt.- On Feb. 5, Justin B. Mathis, 21, of Silt was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and reckless endangerment after his 3-year-old child reportedly wandered around the neighborhood naked in below-freezing temperatures.-On Feb. 2, Tammy A. Savoie, 39, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of fraud by check. -On Feb. 3, Glenwood Springs police arrested Martin Uriel Meraz-Santiesteban, 19, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of drunken driving, careless driving and underage drinking. -On Feb. 4, Glenwood Springs police arrested Christopher J. Faucett, 20, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of forgery, criminal impersonation, defrauding an innkeeper, unauthorized use of a financial device and theft. -On Feb. 4, Glenwood Springs police arrested Derrick M. Engel, 19, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer and second-degree criminal tampering. -On Feb. 4, Glenwood Springs police arrested Luis Jesus Rodriguez-Gomez, 31, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of harassment and stalking. Later, after he allegedly called – from jail – an ex-girlfriend with a restraining order against him, Rodriguez-Gomez was charged with suspicion of violating a restraining order.
