Arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.• On Aug. 30, a woman reported to Glenwood Springs police that she had almost $900 stolen from her purse. It happened inside her house on Highway 6 & 24 as guests were walking in and out of the house. • On the evening of Aug. 30, Glenwood Springs police responded to a report of a hit and run in downtown Glenwood Springs. The suspect was located and taken back to the scene of the accident. The driver, Jeffrey A. Lejune, 34, of Glenwood Springs, was issued a summons into Glenwood Springs Municipal Court for careless driving. According to the report, the crash caused about $5,000 in damage to the hit vehicle and its cargo. • On Aug. 30, Glenwood Springs police were notified that someone damaged property inside Glenwood Springs Middle School.
