GLENWOOD SPRINGS, APRIL 19 – Glenwood Police and Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies located a suspect in a hit-and-run accident on Maple Street. Samuel Chivas Riegle, 28, faces five counts: driving while under restraint, DUI, careless driving, failure to provide proof of insurance, and failure to report accidents. GLENWOOD SPRINGS, APRIL 19 – Randy Wayne Allison, 42, is accused of allegedly committing an act of domestic violence while in his vehicle on Interstate 70. A female passenger allegedly received a minor injury. Allison was charged with third-degree assault and DUI. GLENWOOD SPRINGS, APRIL 22 – Police clocked Lela “Shelly” Rochelle Ray, 40, of Arlington, Texas, speeding more than 10 mph over the limit on Grand Avenue. She was stopped, issued a speeding ticket and DUI, and then released. GLENWOOD SPRINGS, APRIL 22 – Aaron Todd Koski, 29, allegedly trespassed onto the property of Newmann Construction on 19th Street at about 7:30 p.m. Koski was nabbed by the cops, sent to jail and charged with second-degree burglary, criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. GLENWOOD SPRINGS, APRIL 22 – Glenwood Police stopped Aaron Isaac Bailon, 18, for careless driving at about 12:30 a.m. Bailon was allegedly found to be committing underage drinking and happened to have some cocaine in his possession. After he was taken to jail, even more cocaine was found on his person. Bailon was charged with illegal possession or consumption of alcohol, unlawful possession and introducing contraband in the first degree.
