NEW CASTLE, May 23 ” Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a criminal trespass at a home on County Road 335. An adult female reported that she returned home from work to discover that someone had broken into her house and rifled through her medicine cabinet. Nothing was reported missing.

RIFLE, May 24 ” Two juveniles were caught allegedly shoplifting at Family Dollar. One suspect was 8, the other 11, both from Rifle. The 11-year-old boy was issued a summons for theft and released to his parents.



RIFLE, May 24 ” Rifle High School janitors caught four or five intruders removing several ceiling tiles, which were stacked in a pile. Once spotted, they fled the school. Police had no further information May 30.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, May 28 ” Brett Nathaniel Seubert, 21, allegedly climbed atop the roof of a restaurant at 704 Grand Ave., heard nature’s calling and excreted onto the wall of the restaurant. Seubert was issued a summons for trespassing and excreting in public places.



GLENWOOD SPRINGS, May 29 ” Police responded to an alarm at the Grand Avenue Arby’s, where they talked to the manager who allegedly smelled like burnt marijuana. The manager, Jerome Anthony Meadows, 29, provided police with the pot and was summonsed for possession of marijuana.

May 23 ” Christopher Wolfgang Heffernan, 18 ” Illegal possession of alcohol, criminal mischief, contributing to delinquency of minor

May 23 ” Jefferson Richard Cobb, 18 ” Illegal possession of alcohol, marijuana offenses, contributing to delinquency of minor

May 23 ” Matthew Ira Holtquist, 34 ” Trespass

May 24 ” Kristine Ann Reyhons, 40 ” Warrant Arrest

May 26 ” Michael Lee Eversole, 28 ” Warrant Arrest

May 27 ” Roger Andrew Ruiz, 34 ” Harassment (strikes)

May 27 ” Casey James Lewis, 19 ” Illegal underage consumption of alcohol

May 28 ” Jesse Ray Aceves, 42 ” Warrant Arrest

May 28 ” Thomas Dean Pillow, 18 ” Trespass

May 28 ” Ricardo Antonio Argueta, 33 ” Assault

May 29 ” Brian John Garland, 35 ” Violation of restraining order

May 29 ” Brian Joseph Backley, age unknown ” Harassment (strikes), telecommunications crime

May 29 ” Janet Rae Curry, 54 ” Warrant Arrest

May 29 ” Terri Lynn Arneson-Ashcraft, 36 ” Warrant Arrest
