GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Officers were advised of a male subject with a concealed weapon near the bike path behind Safeway. He was found to have a BB gun in his jacket. Officers discovered he is a convicted sex offender and arrested Russell Keith Surgeon, 22, for failure to register as a sex offender.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Emile Dubia, 46, was cited for a vicious animal after someone reported they had been bitten on the face by her dog. Police contacted the victim and noticed a cut from the victim’s eye to the top of her nose.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Officers cited a 15-year-old with minor in possession of tobacco after seeing him smoking while standing in the middle of the street near Yampah Mountain High School.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: A child called 911 and hung up because her mother was fighting with her boyfriend. Deputies visited the residence, where they arrested Michelle Leanne Smith, 44, on charges of criminal mischief, criminal attempt and third-degree assault.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Should you drink at the bus stop? Officers were notified of a male drinking beer while waiting for the bus at the Glenwood Springs Mall. Thomas Peter Adams, 44, was issued a summons for drinking in public areas and released.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a local hotel. They arrested Rachel Antoinette Koch, 35, for third-degree assault.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Police looked into an accident in a parking lot and noticed signs that the driver was drunk. They issued Chad Gabriel Garza, 33, a summons for careless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Eduardo Meza-Rodriguez, 18, was stopped for a traffic infraction on Grand Avenue. He showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol, driving while ability impaired by alcohol and speeding.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Officers arrested Amad AA Burleigh, 21, for disorderly conduct and harassment. They had been investigating a call of harassment at or near the I-70 Shell Station.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and noticed signs of an intoxicated driver. Carlos M Varela, 41, was arrested for DUI, speeding and driving under revoked or suspended license.

NEW CASTLE: Sheriff’s deputies investigated a domestic disturbance call and arrested Vuntanee Klein, 50 for criminal mischief and third-degree assault.

SILT: Deputies arrested Richard Paul Geiske, 49, on two charges of third-degree assault while investigating a report of domestic violence.

SILT: Someone reported that three dogs routinely harass livestock on property near silt. Deputies issued Jeffrey Brian Zimmerman, 44, a summons for dog at large and dog license required.

RIFLE: Wrong way ” Police contacted a vehicle that was driving the wrong way down Highway 13. Francisco Garcia, 45, was arrested for DUI, licenses required and careless driving.

RIFLE: Police responded to an assault call. They arrested Nathan Manygoats, 22, for third-degree assault and robbery.

RIFLE: Police stopped a vehicle that was driving on the sidewalk. They arrested Roberta Elmore, 47, for DUI, careless driving and failure to provide insurance.

RIFLE: Gerald Fitz-Gerald, 27, was arrested for violation of a restraining order and domestic violence.
