Assault ” Deputies responded to a report of an assault. Two adult males were cited for a mutual assault as a result of one of the males writing derogatory remarks on the window of the other male’s vehicle. David Wayne Martin, 33, was cited for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Christopher Daniel Fernald, 19, was cited with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal tampering.

Public urination ” Police saw an adult male urinating on a downtown street. Dustin Robert Flohr, 23, was cited for excreting in public places.



Jail assault ” Deputies responded to the Garfield County Jail for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that a male inmate attempted to assault one of the detention deputies. Thomas Edward Norberg, 30, was charged with criminal attempt and second-degree assault.

Flying dog ” Someone reported that she was driving in the left turn lane when a dog in the back of a pickup truck jumped out and scratched the side of her car. Police cited Jana Jo Gorton Grantz, 46, for the damage to the vehicle, dog at large and cruelty to animals for having the dog in the back of the truck.



DUI ” Deputies contacted a vehicle on Highway 6 for weaving. They arrested Bobby Joe Honeycutt, 43, for DUI, weaving and having an open container in the vehicle.

Sex assault warrant ” Deputies contacted a male in Rifle that had a Larimer County warrant for sexual assault on a child less than 15 by a person in a position of trust. Carlos Ismeal Cama Larreynaga, 32, was arrested.

Impersonation ” Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding outside Rifle. They said the driver was lying about his name. Seledonio Delacruz-Matias, 36, was arrested for speeding, driving with a license revoked as a habitual offender, no proof of insurance, criminal impersonation

Dog at large ” Animal control cited Maria Alcantar, 49, for dog at large and dog license required after following the dog to its home.

Coal Ridge High ” Deputies responded to a report of drug activity at Coal Ridge High School. They cited two 16-year-olds for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

DUI ” A vehicle was parked in the travel lane on County Road 125. Deputies arrested Jose Barrera-Ramirez, 28, for DUI and driving without a valid license.

Domestic violence ” While conducting a welfare check, deputies learned of an ongoing domestic violence incident and arrested Stephen Dale Roat, 58, for harassment and criminal mischief.
