Editor’s note: The following information comes from official police and sheriff’s department incident reports. Arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Aug. 15: Disturbance ” Police responded to a disturbance report at a residence. They arrested Charles Francis Rosse Jr., 44, of Glenwood Springs, on suspicion unlawful sexual contact. They believe he touched a female inappropriately.

Aug. 14: Warrant ” Police went to a bail bonds office for someone who wished to turn himself in. They arrested Anthony Manuel Martinez, 40, of Silt, on an active warrant for violating a protection order.

Aug. 14: DUI ” Police stopped a vehicle suspected of a traffic violation. They arrested Luke Heuer, 22, of New Castle, on suspicion of DUI, driving with a license under restraint and failure to display lamps when required.

Aug. 13: Discharge of a weapon ” Police investigated a report of a person shooting a cat with a BB gun. Police were unable to determine if the cat had been shot, but they cited Rex Anthony Odom, 26, of Glenwood Springs, with discharge of a weapon.

Aug. 13: Menacing ” Police answered a report of a domestic disturbance. They believe Jesus Alberto Gonzalez, 28, of Glenwood Springs, threatened a woman and a baby. He was arrested on suspicion of menacing.

Aug. 12: Harassment ” Police investigated a disturbance call and arrested Michael Shawn Easley, 35, of Glenwood Springs, on suspicion on harassment.

Aug. 11: Trespassing ” Police responded to a report of a man camping and trespassing in the backyard of a residence. They arrested Ryan Lynn Olsen, 33, of Glenwood Springs, on suspicion of trespassing.

Aug. 11: Warrant ” Police arrested Brian Ross Rhoads, 37, of Glenwood Springs, on an active warrant for failure to appear.

Aug. 11: Warrant ” An officer assisting the probation department arrested Shawn Patrick Egan, 19, of Glenwood Springs, on an active warrant for contempt of court.

Aug. 2: Harassment ” Deputies answered a report of harassment and damage to a residence. Deputies believe a man entered a family member’s house and damaged about $320 worth of property. Paul R. Huttenhower, 50, of Glenwood Springs, was arrested on suspicion of harassment, criminal mischief, trespassing and burglary.

Aug. 1: Harassment ” Deputies responded to a disturbance outside Carbondale. They arrested Thompson Alexander Bishop, 28, of Aspen, on suspicion of harassment. Deputies believe he harassed his wife.
