Dec. 19: DUI ” Police stopped a vehicle suspected of failing to use its headlights. They arrested Kelly Marie Gabossi, 24, of Glenwood Springs, on suspicion of DUI.
Dec. 18: Warrant ” Police were dispatched to a man who wanted to turn himself in. They arrested Nathan Allen Harford, 25, of Grand Junction, on an arrest warrant for contempt of court in a driving without insurance case.
Dec. 18: Shoplifting ” Police answered a call about a shoplifter in custody. They cited Alexander Santos Telles, 18, of Glenwood Springs, with petty theft for allegedly stealing $19.12 worth of items.
Dec. 18: Harassment ” Police responded to a home on First Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. They arrested Justin Alan Warren, 28, of Texas, on suspicion of harassment and interfering with telephone service.
Dec. 15: Trespassing ” Police responded to a report of a man trespassing at a hotel. They cited John Fredrick Bennet, 44, of Glenwood Springs, with trespassing.
Dec. 15: Shoplifting ” Police answered a call about a shoplifter in custody. They cited Tami Marie Abbot, 21, of Glenwood Springs, with petty theft for allegedly stealing $43.91 worth of items.
Dec. 20: Dog at large ” Police responded to a report of a vicious dog. They cited John Doose with a dog at large violation.
Dec. 20: Hit-and-run ” Police investigated a hit-and-run accident. They found the suspect vehicle unoccupied but idling. Police arrested Leonardo Lopez Rodriguez, 20, on suspicion of criminal impersonation.
Dec. 17: Harassment ” Police answered a report of a disturbance. They cited Jessica Bradley and Joshua Bradley with harassment.
Dec. 17: DUI ” Police contacted several intoxicated men they say were yelling obscenities and asked them not to drive. Police arrested Joshua Backus, 29, of Grand Junction, on suspicion of DUI a short time later.
Dec. 17: Assault ” Police investigated a report of a disturbance. They arrested Terry Fronapfel, 38, on suspicion of DUI and harassment.
Dec. 13: Assault ” Police took a call about an assault. They believe the 16-year-old victim was intoxicated. He was cited and released to his mother. Michael Cullen and Wyatt Ferguson, both 18, also received citations for underage possession or consumption of alcohol.
Dec. 11: Assault ” Police responded to a report of an assault in progress. They arrested Vernon Ray Lovitt, 59, of Rifle, on suspicion of harassment.
Dec. 4: Domestic disturbance ” Police investigated a report of a domestic disturbance. They tried to arrest Taryn Baldizan on an active arrest warrant. Police say she began to resist arrest, causing herself to be injured. Police say she continued to resist police and emergency room staff after being transported to the hospital. She was later taken to jail.
