On Jan. 8, Rifle police looked into a report of a United Parcel Service truck driving over a lawn on 12th Street to avoid a closed road. -On Jan. 9, Rifle police pulled over a vehicle with no taillights. The driver, Phu Hung Huynh, 21, of Northglenn was arrested on suspicion of driving under restraint, drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no insurance. -On Jan. 10, Rifle police responded to a report of shots being fired. When they arrived, police arrested Omar De La Cruz-Rivas, 25, of Rifle on suspicion of drunken driving, resisting arrest and no insurance. His passenger, Roberto Velazquez Martinez, 29, of Rifle was arrested on suspicion of prohibited use of weapons, resisting arrest, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and complicity.
