On Feb. 14, acting on a tip from Silt police, a Two Rivers Drug Enforcement Team undercover officer purchased cocaine. TRIDENT, with the assistance of the Carbondale Police Department, executed a search warrant at 48 N 8th St. in Carbondale and arrested Jose Jesus Gonzalez, 57, of Carbondale on suspicion of distribution of cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine. -On Feb. 22, Rifle police arrested Neal A. Ring, 26, of Carbondale on suspicion of harassment, domestic violence, no insurance, driving while ability impaired, no insurance and driving under restraint after a woman told police Ring followed her home, got into an argument with her, then pushed her. -On Feb. 23, Rifle police heard about a fight that happened at the 100 block of East 3rd Avenue. Paul Padilla, 31, of Rifle allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, then, when another man tried to intervene, the man was also assaulted. Padilla was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence and possession of marijuana. -On Feb. 14, Glenwood Springs police arrested Justin L. Quinn, 21, of Littleton on suspicion of drunken driving. -On Feb. 15, Glenwood Springs police received a report from a Pitkin Avenue resident who reported three of his trees had bark peeled from their lower trunks. The trees are worth around $150. -On Feb. 15, Glenwood Springs police arrested Anabel Escareno, 19, of Grand Junction on suspicion of drunken driving, underage drinking and impeding normal traffic flow. -On Feb. 15, Glenwood Springs police saw a vehicle allegedly speeding on Grand Avenue. They arrested Jesus Flores, 32, of Carbondale on suspicion of drunken driving, careless driving and driving without a license. -On Feb. 15, Glenwood Springs police arrested Cole J. Blizard, 18, of Glenwood Springs for allegedly stealing a car from the Ramada Inn parking lot. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated car theft, driving without headlights, driving without a license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. -On Feb. 17, Glenwood Springs police arrested two women for allegedly trying to steal more than $500 worth of merchandise from Kmart at the Glenwood Springs Mall. Claudia Castaneda and Anna Mora, both 19 and from Glenwood Springs, were arrested on suspicion of theft. -On Feb. 19, Glenwood Springs police arrested Louisa Bernadette Gomez, 39, of Center on suspicion of drunken driving, driving with a revoked license, false reporting to authorities and failure to dim lights for approaching vehicles. -On Feb. 22, Martin Cheney, 22, of Carbondale was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, speeding and no proof of insurance. -On Feb. 22, Glenwood Springs police arrested Connie Lynn Boatwright, 32, of Carbondale on suspicion of drunken driving, failure to yield, no proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. -On Feb. 23, Glenwood Springs police received a report of a man who ran from a store after concealing merchandise in his coat. Christopher Greenstein, 31, of Houston was arrested on suspicion of theft. -On Feb. 23, Glenwood Springs police arrested Nathan L. Traul, 21, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
