On Monday, a tractor-trailer jackknifed just west of the No Name tunnels in the westbound lane of Interstate 70 Monday around 12:30 p.m., snarling traffic for nearly an hour.-On April 9, Rifle police arrested Enrique G. Navarro, 26, of Aurora on suspicion of drunken driving, DUI per se and felony narcotic possession. -On April 10, Rifle police arrested Shad Syddall, 27, of Rifle on suspicion of domestic violence and harassment after police allege he slapped a woman friend in the face. -On April 8, a woman reported to Glenwood Springs police that her boyfriend, James A. Cooper, 27, of Glenwood Springs, “grabbed her in an unwanted manner several times, causing a bruise.” Cooper was arrested on suspicion of harassment. -On April 9, Glenwood Springs police arrested Cole J. Blizard, 18, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of underage drunken driving, underage drinking and driving without a license. -On April 10, Glenwood Springs police arrested Michael J. Pambrun, 33, of Malibu, Calif., on suspicion of unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon. -On April 11, Glenwood Springs police arrested Russell V. Peters, 76, of Ithaca, Mich., on suspicion of drunken driving and DUI per se. -On April 11, Glenwood Springs police were dispatched to a report of an arson incident at the gated storage area of the Amtrak Station. The fire was extinguished, but no suspect was located.
