On April 28, Rifle police were notified of a woman who came into the Kum & Go on East 1st Street for a report that she took two videotapes. While police were investigating, they found out that the woman also reportedly took videotapes from the Kum & Go on 26th Street. Police are attempting to locate the suspect. -On April 25, Glenwood Springs police arrested seven juveniles and two adults in connection with a drinking party at the Silver Spruce Hotel. In addition to the juveniles, Patrick H. Sheridan, 22, of Rifle was arrested on suspicion of buying alcohol for minors and Brian Wren, 18, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. -On April 25, Gary W. McFarland, 28, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of driving under restraint, no proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. -On April 27, Glenwood Springs police arrested Ricardo Lopez, 24, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of criminal tampering after he was reported to have smeared egg on a vehicle’s window.
