Arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven or otherwise pleading guilty in court.)-On May 23, Rifle police were called to the scene of a hit and run through a wall. According to the report, a car was driven through a wall at 747 Elder Court and the car was gone by the time the hole was noticed. The case is under investigation. -On May 23, Glenwood Springs police were transporting a man to his residence when an officer noticed a vehicle weaving on the roadway. The officer pulled over the vehicle and arrested John M. McClenahan, 57, of New Castle on suspicion of drunken driving, changing lanes when unsafe and issued him a Garfield County summons.
