On June 7 at 12:34 a.m., Glenwood police were called to a loud party at 3705 Old Lodge Road, where they found several intoxicated minors. Nathaniel Land Lucas, 19, of Glenwood was lodged in jail on a $100 warrant for an earlier underage drinking case. Kyle Andrew Webb, 19, host of the party, was cited on suspicion of underage drinking, providing liquor to minors and possession of drug paraphernalia. A party-goer reported that $160 in money and keys were stolen from her purse at the party.-On June 7 at 7:20 a.m., Glenwood police stopped Kevin Joseph Sweeney, 48, of Glenwood Springs for failing to use a turn signal while driving on Grand Avenue. Sweeney was arrested and summoned on suspicion of drunk driving.-On June 7 at 2:30 a.m., Glenwood police stopped Jaime Barragan-Gallegos on suspicion of careless driving in the 1100 block of Cooper Avenue. Barragan was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, no proof of insurance and impersonation, and lodged in jail.-On June 7 at 2:10 p.m., clerks at Rite Aid Pharmacy called Glenwood police to report that an elderly woman was the victim of an apparent money scam. The night before, the woman sent $650 to a person who apparently does not exist.-On June 7 at 7:50 p.m., a woman reported being sexually assaulted in her home. The case is under investigation.-On June 8 at 1:50 p.m., Glenwood police summoned driver Adam Elijah Bean, 19, of Glenwood Springs on suspicion of littering after Bean threw a cigarette out a car window.-On June 8 at 1:24 a.m., Glenwood police stopped Adrian Avila, 25, of Olathe after he failed to signal while driving on Highway 6 & 24 in West Glenwood. Avila was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and driving under revocation.-On June 8 at 2:18 a.m., a passerby called Glenwood police to say he saw a man punch a window at the Riviera Supper Club, 702 Grand Ave. The restaurant was closed at the time. -On June 6 at 1:30 p.m., a truck was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 900 block of Railroad Avenue in Rifle.-On June 7 at 2:41 p.m., Rifle police were told that Cheryl Fisher, 39, of Rifle, allegedly assaulted a Carbondale woman in the 200 block of West 20th Street. Fisher was summoned on suspicion of disorderly conduct.-On June 7, Rifle police stopped Jorge Rivera, 31, of Rifle for swerving, drifting and failing to stop at a sign while driving in the 800 block of Munroe. He was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and lodged in jail.-On June 7 at 3:36 p.m., Kevin Hale, 36, of Rifle turned himself in to Rifle police on a warrant for theft of cable services. He was lodged in jail.-On June 8 at 7:43 a.m., Rifle police were called to investigate the theft of several thousand dollars worth of tools from a construction site. The case is under investigation.-On June 8 at 4:38 p.m., Carol McQuiston, 52, of Parachute called Rifle police to report that she was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. While investigating, officers learned she was wanted on a warrant. She was later freed on bond.-On June 9 at 2:02 a.m., Rifle police stopped Christopher Gallegos for driving without taillights. Gallegos could not provide a driver’s license, proof of insurance or a registration for the car, which police impounded. He was released on a summons.
