Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado
Oil and gas rules: An article in the Nov. 21 edition of the Post Independent quoted energy industry spokesman David Ludlam stating that Garfield County is a “model” for oil and gas regulation. He was referring strictly to the county’s use of the state’s “local government designee” program. He did not express support for extending the state’s setback for odor-mitigation, a setback of 1,350 feet, to other parts of the state.
In addition, industry spokesperson Kathy Friesen works for Encana Oil and Gas (USA), not WPX Energy, as indicated in the same article.
