IRONBRIDGE GOLF COURSE: A story in the Oct. 7 edition incorrectly reported the Garfield County commissioners did not address Ironbridge golf course public tee times at their Oct. 6 meeting. In fact, the commissioners required 34 normally priced public tee times and an additional six lower-priced public tee times per week in the Ironbridge planned unit development (PUD) amendment approval. Also, in the Ironbridge preliminary plan approval that followed the PUD at the Oct. 7 meeting, the commissioners required Ironbridge to periodically mow the far rough in the golf course’s Westbank section down to eight inches, answering concerns among Westbank homeowners about weeds.
