Heart health: In a Feb. 17 story about women and heart disease, hosted by Dr. Carlos Albrecht, there were some numbers that need to be clarified.According to Albrecht, consistent blood sugar levels between 110-124 indicate a chance to develop diabetes. Also, LDL, or bad cholesterol, should be less than 130 for older people or patients with other risk factors. LDL levels should be around 160 for healthy people in their 30s.
