Regarding Thursday’s article about the juveniles charged with assaulting and robbing a Carbondale woman, one of the accused girls was not in court because she had spoken with the Public Defender’s Office and had retained a public defender.

A Thursday article regarding Carbondale town negotiations with Sunburst Car Care indicated that a building permit may have been required for installation of a new vacuum system last year. The business did obtain a mechanical permit, but no building permit was required, the town’s building official clarified. No decision has been made regarding a right of way lease for Sunburst. The matter has been deferred to March 10 when the owners can be present.
